Lena Laforet

Lena is a homesteader, Zen yogi, and cacao keeper. With an earthy presence and a voice that feels like home, she invites you into the quiet sanctuary of your heart. Her teachings reflect a richly woven, multicultural life and carry the depth of lived wisdom.
Lena is gifted in the art of blessing. She guides seasonal ceremonies and sacred gatherings. With reverence, she has held formal service and supported her community through life’s most meaningful thresholds.
Lena’s experience spans continents and traditions, she is at home in the mystical. She has taught mindfulness at international teacher trainings, and facilitated retreats and workshops that blend earth-based ritual with contemplative practice. In 2015, she received Bodhisattva Vows in the Soto Zen tradition. Her formal certifications include Modo Yoga (Level I & II, 700 hours), Vinyasa (200 hours), and Yin Yoga (100 hours), with many additional hours of study and practice.

MINDFUL FLOW
WEDNESDAYS 9:30-10:45AM
A full spectrum yoga practice that incorporates themes of mindfulness and conscious embodiment. Lena draws on inspiration from her personal spiritual practices and life as a homesteader. The community is warm hearted and so lovely, it feels a bit like temple meets playground, light hearted sacredness.

Step into the season of winter and the fresh canvas of 2026 with presence and gratitude.
This special end of year class led by Lena will encompass:Warming full body yoga practice that will culminate with relaxing yin to welcome the winter vibes
Guided journaling and contemplation to thank and honour 2025 and its gifts and challenges
Meditation to welcome spaciousness for the new creative cycle.
Please wear comfortable clothes and set up your personal schedule so that that you can be fully present and at ease for these 2 precious self care hours.
Please bring:a yoga mat and meditation cushion (lots available to borrow at studio)
a journal and pen
